Well, we have done alot of things already. We have been in a campground right outside of Osage Beach since we left in mid-September. It is Beautiful. I hadn't been to the Ozarks since I was maybe 13 or 14 years old. I had forgotten(or not cared at the time) how great it is! We have gotten back into our school books. The kids are loving it! They are so excited about the new things they are learning. Isabel is starting multiplication. Gracie is getting better at reading. Isaiah is making great improvements on his handwriting(I can actually read it). We are about to start big kid math and phonics with him. And Marissa is loving her flashcards!
We have been on some GREAT "fieldtrips"! My childhood friend Natalie lives in Jefferson City, which is about 45 mins from our camperground. We went to a neat Jazz Fest in the park by her house. The kids got to color a picture on the sidewalk with chalk and listen to jazz music. She also took us to the capitol building.
Then we went home for a few days and then made a few extra stops on the way back. We went to the Indepence Zoo(FREE), the Laura Ingalls Wilder KS cabin(FREE),and the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage MO(FREE).
Then last weekend we went to my mom's outside of Tulsa Ok. We usually try to go to a pumpkin patch with her this time of year. So we went to two this year. One was totally faith based. It was great! The other one was very educational. Then, on the way home from there we went to Mansfield and saw the home and musuem of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Neato!
Then on Wednesday we all(including Daddy) went to the capitol. And actually took the tour. Very eductional! Now we are in Little Rock AR.
Jamie had to work in Little Rock AR for just a few days..so here we are. We didn't pull the camper here because gas alone would kill us. So we are in a hotel room.
